Russian authorities might replace school final exams by blockchain-based Early Talent Identification Program (ETIP). This proposal was initiated by Boris Chernyshov, a member of the State Duma Education and Science Committee.
The deputy has already appealed to the Ministry of Education with a request to consider his initiative. According to Chernyshov, many parents and teachers believe the school system’s standards needs to be improved.
“In this regard, it is proposed to introduce another methodology for assessing the knowledge and skills of school graduates, alternative to passing the he Unified State Examination,” the parliamentarian said.
Chernyshov believes that the system of early identification of talents should be based on three components: results of сareer advice, final level of educational achievement, and his social activity.
In turn, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation noted that they haven’t received the letters from Chernyshov yet, but stressed that they’re not planning to replace the USE.
