Singapore-based blockchain firm Zilliqa in collaboration with the Oxford Women in Computer Science Society (OxWoCS), an Oxford society that aims to support women in computer science have launched blockchain workshops for female students.
In the announcement, OxWoCS President Paula Fiddi outlined OxWoCS’ mission to ensure that female experts are provided with equal opportunities to engage with various fields of the technology industry.
Limited to 20 students, the series of workshops, dubbed Blockchain A-Z, are available to all students enrolled at the University of Oxford. The workshops, started on Oct. 31, 2019, will last until Nov. 21, 2019.
The workshops cover diverse range of topics related to blockchain fundamentals, such as technical topics, philosophical foundations, industry insights, business advising. Winners to apply for grants to Zilliqa’s $5 million Ecosystem Grant Programme.
