Cryptocurrency mining botnet MyKingz uses an image of American singer Taylor Swift to infect the computers of victims for mining Monero (XMR) coin.

Bad actors have already infected 500K Windows systems while pocketing more than $3 mln worth of XMR.

Monero remains the favorite target of cryptojackers — more than four percent of XMR’s total supply is related to illegal crypto mining.
