Bitcoin scam adverts featuring Martin Lewis pictures have continued to appear in Instagram despite previous attempts by the British financial expert to prevent such illegal activities.

The fake ad demonstrates Lewis’ face to promote a fake article “Martin Lewis Lends a Hand to British Families with Revolutionary Bitcoin Home Based Opportunity” pretending to be published by The Mirror, major British national daily tabloid.

Lewis retweeted the post on Jan. 7 to warn users about the scam. 

In April 2018, Lewis launched legal action against Facebook claiming that the social network has published more than 50 ads with illicit use of his face.Facebook reached a settlement with Lewis to launch a dedicated tool to report scam ads.
