Netherlands-based blockchain companies are freely providing their services to the Dutch government within the initiative “Tech against Corona”.The initiative already includes ten tech companies with many more set to join.
The blockchain will be used to ensure transparency across the supply chain, provide security services for hospitals, administrate online platforms, provide computing systems.
For example, Tymlez’ blockchain platform to bring transparency to medical supply chain. Cybersecurity firm Cybersprint provides security services to several hospitals, information security firm Taxion will administer web systems to organize volunteer workers.
The Dutch Red Cross is accepting Bitcoin donations through its website.
