Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has sued YouTube over failing to crack down on scam videos.

Despite many requests from Ripple to remove a fake XRP giveaway video with Garlinghouse, YouTube administrators delayed responding or completely ignored the requests. Ripple noted that unlike YouTube, other streaming platforms are more responsive to such notifications.

“YouTube generated $15 billion in ad revenue last year, and you’re telling me they can’t spend more money to police obvious scams that violate their own terms of service,” Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said.
