Olof Gustafsson, CEO of Escobar Inc, the company associated with Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar, has launch another one theory on the true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto. The CEO of the Escobars’ conglomerate and right-hand man to Pablo’s brother Roberto, shared his version in a recent phone call with Cointelegraph.
According to Olof, Bitcoin creator is Yasutaka Nakamoto, a high-ranking engineer who worked for Pablo Escobar. Yasutaka has been off the radar since1992 after surviving an assassination attempt by his former employer. Years later, he resurfaced to create Bitcoin.
Gustafsson claims that Yasutaka’s experience with microprocessors and semiconductors supplied him with a base of technical knowledge which he would later apply to the world’s first cryptocurrency.
In previous years, Roberto Escobar has claimed Satoshi approached him personally for help in building Bitcoin. Other times, Escobar has claimed that Satoshi was really a cipher for the CIA and the U.S government.
