Donald Trump 2020 presidential campaign website was hacked for 30 minutes. The hackers posted a notice stating, “this site was seized” and “the world has had enough of the fake-news spreaded daily by president Donald j trump,” complete with replica seals from the Department of Justice and FBI.
Cybercriminals also claimed that they had revealed “strictly classified information proving that the trump-gov is involved in the origin of the coronavirus.
Trump campaign spokesperson denied that any sensitive data had been taken from the website, which is now back to normal.
The crypto community are hoping that if Democrats come into power, then the approach to regulating cryptocurrencies would be more positive. As a reminder, last year, the current U.S. President tweeted that he does not like the idea of decentralized currencies.
Cryptocurrency-related scams have significantly increased amid the global pandemic. Authorities in many countries issued warnings about the rise in crypto scams.
